CMSG are your professionals in Germany and the German speaking area. A small team dedicated to providing qualified and expert service within the construction, process and property industries.


We commenced working together initially as a network of individuals in the year 2000. Each founding partner has spent many years working in Germany on large & complicated projects, predominantly for major project management companies. A spirit of trust and confidence has grown over the years of working together, together with the feeling that we can provide a better and more focussed service for our clients than the large project management companies.

The company was founded in 2006, initially as a GbR, and became a GmbH at the end of 2008. CMSG has been successfully involved in Projects throughout Germany, Austria, the Balkans, Greece and Finland for a mixture of client types - from cinema and leisure centre operators to semiconductor manufacturers, from telecoms network installations to bulk gas production, from hotels to city centre office refurbishments, from construction companies to blue chip plc's. Our core business area is the commercial management of large & complex projects. This is reflected in the name – Commercial Management Solutions Gesellschaft.

What makes us different from every other professional consultancy company?

We believe there are two major factors:

  • our philosophy is to work alongside the client – and usually within the client organisation; we will not just offer you a standard set of services
  • the depth of project experience which each team member can call upon; with an average age of 44 all are specialists in a particular field.

And we have learnt that the most important aspect of professional service is not only to understand the requirements and goals of our clients but also to realise their potential and - sometimes - to be aware of the limitations.

The key to our success is simple - competence based upon relevant knowledge and solid experience.
